The staff are very helpful. Even we changed our requirement a few times, they gave us prompt response and were still very supportive. Our stuff arrive even a bit earlier than we expected. We are very happy with the services.

Although I understand the summer holiday time to be busy and many people gone, it was a bit frustrating to know that our container had cleared customs and everything else but yet not be able to have it delivered for over a month.

The communicate and directions were very poor. Phone calls not returned. The hold ups cost me over $2k but was relatively simple thing to sort out once explained.

"The office staff were always kind and courteous"
From the container arriving we had to wait 6 weeks for our belongings. This was not the fault of Conroys, however it is hard to give a 5 star rating after such a long delay regardless of who was at fault.
The office staff were always kind and courteous. They gave accurate information at all times .
The delivery guys were great, worked tirelessly until the job was complete.
We only had one box that appeared to have been dropped with all contents smashed . This could have happened at any stage so we aren't pointing any fingers of blame .

I wish to inform that I have appreciated the service offerred by the compavy for my move back to mauritius, the only black spot is that I havent been well advised concerning my car, I stll havent taken possesion of my car and had a lot of complications concerning regulations in place in mauritius during my absence from the country, i didnt know that I Iwont benefit from the custom exemption if I had been on holidays in mauritius during these last 5 years {which is ridiculous} hence I,ll have to pay a lot of money to the revenue authority.
"easy to deal with"
Our experince with Conroy Removals has been great. Every person we have delt with was helpful and easy to deal with. I would have given 5 stars for overall experince but feel a little let down with the communication from the New Zealand side.
I have had to do all the chasing to find out the progress of our shipment. It wasn't until another call in that information was given that our stuff had cleared quaranteen and was heading down to Wellington. Our stuff is due to arrive tomorrow and as of 3pm today I still haven't had a call to give me a time. This is important information so arrangements can be made.
Having said that very happy with Conral Removals and would use/recommend again.

"ludicrous!"
Sending 2 men to unload & unpack an entire household in a day - ludicrous! Insufficient manpower for the job. All Conroy staff were fantastic to work with, but more men were needed to deal with such a large consignment. Things deteriorated further when the 2nd man retired injured mid-afternoon. In particular, Will was fantastic, but the overall experience on unpacking day was stressful & could have been avoided.
A quick look at the volume of the shipment & the packing list would have confirmed a large amount of furniture, china, crockery, glassware etc. If I had been aware that only 2 men would be on the job, I would have immediately asked for extra staff - or you could have said in advance that it would take 2 days with the staff provided. At least then we could have been prepared.
The next day, Operations kindly offered us the services of a man a few days later. We appreciated his offer, but that was too late for us. What we needed was more manpower on the day. Your Conroy phone recording refers to how stressful moving can be. Not having sufficient staff only adds to the stress. In future, I hope your company can be more flexible with the provision of extra men or at least communicate to your clients what the staff provision will be, so that expectations can be managed. I have communicated my comments to Conroy Brisbane office by phone & email, as I was very disappointed with my experience - worst move-in ever in 35 years!

The checking in process for items on delivery was deeply flawed; many items were not properly identified for checking off the inventory list so once everything had apparently been unloaded there were still 9 items that had not been checked off. There was no attempt to check and locate these items in the property apart from one I insisted on looking for, which was of particular value but could not be located; after the operatives left site I manged to locate 8 of the unchecked items but this 1 item remains missing and was not delivered to the property. Lots of items were left with their packaging on, which we then had to remove. Some items had been dismantled by the removal company for packing on collection, including bicycles and furniture, which were not reassembled but left in pieces for us to do. Several glass items were discovered broken when we opened and unpacked the boxes. The follow up for the item reported missing has been awful; it has been over 5 weeks now but there is still no proposed way forward and a complete lack of communication from Conroys, who seem to not want to deal with the situation and take responsibility or action, which is totally unacceptable.
