I found dealing with customer service to be easy, painless and they were always very prompt and patient as I had a huge number of questions. We haven't been able to open boxes yet as we haven't moved into our new home, however there are a number of boxes that are dented etc. Hoping that the contents are in tact on the inside. Many of the forms were quite confusing and we were given some that we didn't actually need to fill out. We had a significant mix up with our final bill which was quickly rectified, but if we hadn't been vigilent we could have over paid by around $500.

The delivery of my shipment was at the time specified and the men were courteous and efficient. However arranging a delivery date was difficult and required numerous emails.

We selected Conroy pretty much on the doged determination of the assessor to win our order, a little intense at times but he won us over because of his knowledge of the process and his assurance that he would be there to lead his team. As it was he wasn't there, but the two men who did arrive were first rate and packed proficiently managing to wrap, pack and uplift so well that our whole household fitted into the container, something all three quoting companies said was not possible. It has just arrived, been unpacked and not a thing was broken. We were extremely happy with the service provided by Conroy and have every confidence in recommending their services for a move from Sydney to the South of England. One thing made the difference between giving them a 4 and not a 5 star and that was not being advised that we could have been liable for an unquantifiable levy for delays at the UK port arising as a result of a 'shortage of haulage drivers'. As it was there was no charge, but this should have been explained by Conroy rather than the UK contractor's literature.

I did not reply to first request as I had YET TO RECEIVE DELIVERY. Only too pleased to Now. Driver & assistant.... Superb. Office staff, Qld. & Vic. most efficient & courteous. Premier Van Lines, USA also Superb with co-ordination. 4 star, as wasn't necessary for All to be Unwrapped/unpacked, most co-operative overall.
"Contact between Conroy and Simpsons in Uk was poor"
Contact between Conroy and Simpsons in Uk was poor and Conroy were informed by me that i had a shipment coming. Information from Simpsons did not match the info given by Conroy, this i believe was Simpsons fault as they informed me by having Simpsons do all the packing would make custom clearance easier. This was not the case and Simpsons warned of possible quarantine fee, not definite ones. Simpsons also said the container to arrive at my doorstep would be sealed and be the same container from start to finish. I understand this is not practice but removal companies need to be clear on the procedures from start to finish. Conroy, i hope, have contacted Simpson Uk and told them to be more honest with fees and charges on arrival and container switches. Whats the point in giving me the container number and seal number when nothing matches on arrival? Please add not sure to questions 2 and 3
Several items (estimated worth $200) arrived broken
Several items (estimated worth $200) arrived broken. This could have occured before arriving in Australia; however, I did have a similar move two years ago with another carrier and absolutely nothing arrived broken.

I was a little edgy intially as there were a few bad reviews of Conroy on the web, but I shouldn't have worried at all. Conroy were very professional and kept me in the loop throughout the process, I received replies to all my emails on the same day. Unloading also went very well and the guys were really good. All the stuff we asked them to assemble was assembled, apart from the excersice machines (I asked one guy to assemble them too but then did not check and they were not assembled). I have relocated to various countries in the past and used dozens of removal companies, Conroy would come near the top for their service. On the whole it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend Conroy to anyone thinking of using their services.
