Excellent experience. Clear communication and expectations while our goods were in storage for 6 months. Arrived on time for delivery. The 2 movers were efficient, polite and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending Conroy.

I Will Be Using Them Again
I was very impressed with all aspects of Conroy's service, their initial communication, removing and packing our items from the Sunshine Coast , and then their prompt delivery to our new home in New Zealand. We had been worried about sending some garden trays and pots, even after cleaning them, but all our items passed inspection without any issues. The person who delivered our items in NZ was fantastic, he reversed his truck the whole length of our long, steep and winding shared gravel driveway in the rain, and was able to deliver our things right to our shipping container, very friendly too! I would definitely recommend Conroy to anyone and if I ever need to move, I will be using them again.
The men were amazing. Efficient and worked carefully to make sure our items were transported undamaged.

This was not our first international move and having come from a freight forwarding background many years ago, we are a little more tuned into the process. Gary was great when quoting and explaining how Conroy's work and honesty re car shipping - we ended up using Conroy's for the car shipping due to lack of roro's out of Brisbane. Communication in Australia and NZ with the co-ordiantors was very good, keeping us up to date with progress. The packers were careful, respectful and moved very quickly, although we made it pretty easy for them with nothing to take apart and most things in one room (we did this as I had arranged transport for a certain time so needed to make sure they got things done by that time - they did appreciate the extra effort we had gone to which which was nice. The communication for delivery was disapointing. A text message to say which day they were coming (no options given) and then a call the day before to say they would be coming in the morning instead of the afternoon as per the text. The truck that came was massive and struggled with the driveway amongst other things and as a result we had to unload everything into the garage (I needed half of it into a storage container, but the truck couldn't reverse in due to its size and capability of the driver). There wasn't much communication about what the process was and they just seemed happy to unload everything into the garage and leave us to sort it out - but maybe this was the service...I assumed that it would be more than a delivery service where they actuallly placed furniture and took away packaging. Overall we were very happy with Conroy's.
This feed back should be split. To the brisbane based team, I would use the service again and I would give them 5s. To the auckland based employee dealing with this transfer. Politely she leaves very little to be desirered, crap attitude, and a stain on this company. I have raised this issue with her manager as it would fall short in customer services that I would/should be expected and maintained.
Cannot Speak Highly Enough Of Their Services
In October 2022, Conroy Transport moved us from New Zealand to Melbourne and were fantastic.
So, when I moved from Caulfield to Berwick Melbourne, using them again was a bit of no brainer.
We wanted an early start, so they arrived before 7am and the crew were so friendly and obliging, and just got on with it.
Everything was packed on the truck with great care and respect for the property, covered and secured extremely well for travel.
When they delivered everything to our new address, on leaving they told us to call when we had finished all our unpacking through the week, and they would swing past and collect all the cardboard, wrapping etc, which they did two days later - which I was extremely grateful for.
I cannot speak highly enough of their service and after sales care, and would highly recommend them for anyone that is shifting.
The Sydney side of things went well. In Melbourne 1 carton was missing & still can't be found . Charged an extra $780 for difficult access which I brought to the attn of the Melbourne team prior to the move in . They said they could see the address on Google maps & it wouldn't be a problem. On the day it was a problem. A ute was sent to move my belongings from the truck & trailer to my dwelling. Hence the extra charge which I was told that this was at cost & I should have paid a lot more. Beds not assembled as per the contract because 1 had the assembly screws sent but not catalogued which no. Carton they were in. I found them later during unpacking. I know I was asked if there was anything I wanted the crew to do before they left but I was preoccupied looking for 2 missing cartons at the time . 1 carton was brought by the ute just before they left site apparently found under some of the packing material. The stainless fridge door was scratched & dented. The fridge is 6 months old. So not really happy. I picked Conroys because they are supposed to be professional & experienced removalists & I didn't get quotes from any other removal companies as I was prepared to pay for quality & good service. So in short not a happy customer. No apology, nothing resolved as yet & I guess I should be happy with my so called discounted difficult access fee.
