"Items were broken"
Items were broken, one of them due to poor and lazy packing which I was not expecting given I paid professionals to pack for us. We were prewarmed by friends who had just used you that the guys didn't want to take away the boxes (included in quote price) so we had someone home to insist on this. Surprisingly we were told they weren't planning on taking it, weren't sure if they could etc, and had to ring head office to check our booking before they would take it. Also, at the outset, I was concerned that no one could tell me the underwriter or the excess of the transit insurance which you are selling as an add on (albeit via broker) The best thing about the experience was the man who came to our house in Sydney to do the estimate quote, he was fantastic and very professional.

"thoroughly impressed"
I have been thoroughly impressed with Conroy's and would definitely use them again if I were to move domesticaly or internationaly. I only moved a small amount of items but nevertheless found the service to be very good throughout. John Rowden at the Brisbane end is particularly good. I thank John for making the process easy to understand and to go through (I exported a motor cycle as part of my belongings). John's customer attention took away any concerns or worries and I have been continually updated by various representatives of Conroy's throughout the process. I am still waiting on customs and quarantine (the motorcycle) at this Christchurch end but I expect the attention and care will continue. Thank you Conroys.

Pickup in Australia and delivery here in New Zealand were both done in good time with both crews being friendly and professional.

"calls went unanswered"
Went Initially all went well setting up booking. However for day of packing we weren't really given any idea of how long it would take for them to pack and remove, admittedly it wasn't something we thought about prior to the day either. However we lived in an apartment and had to book elevator and had booked far too early as packing took over two hours. Fortunately all worked out in the end, however I'd recommend just an estimated packing time for size of lift day or two prior as have to book lifts in advance for apartments so was a bit stressful on the day. We had issues trying to sort out insurance. Took over ten attempts with phone calls and emails over the course of a week. Only had one call back but we had since left Melbourne for holiday and had intermittent phone reception. Again was just an unnecessary stress that could have been dealt with earlier with a call back. Tried to go through Melbourne office rather than our direct contact to try speed it along however all calls went unanswered and to same voicemail of contact we had dealt with.

I found conroy to be very good .but there inability to answer and return ph calls was quite annoying i ended ringing branches in other states to find answers to questions i needed answers for.I found this extremely stressful at a very awkward time which moving from one country to another is .the staff that came to house were extremely effiecent and friendly and helpful cheers guys
"satisfying experience"
We could not have asked for or had a more satisfying experience moving our goods. The depot was conveniently located and easy to access. We were kept informed every step of the way and found that Conroy staff showed a strong customer service ethos which made them a pleasure to deal with. Our goods arrived in good condition and within the time frame given. We highly recommend Conroy for overseas freight.

"positive experience for our family"
First time we've used a moving company to transfer our furniture internationally, was feeling a little anxious as we heard stories of poor customer service, loss/damaged furniture, huge costs including insurances. Thankfully we never experienced any and more than happy to recommend based on the following:

- Follow up both Australia and New Zealand - Excellent and thorough
- Value for money - Excellent and was provided with options to get costs down
- Technical Expertise - Excellent, explained to us in "Layman Terms"
- Movers in Australia and New Zealand - Excellent, courteous and respectful of our homes
- Speed of delivery - Wow 22 Day turn-around and during their busiest period just before Christmas
- 10/11/16 - Furniture picked up from home in Brisbane
- 02/12/16 - Furniture delivered to our new home in Auckland

I have already done this survey and have to say again how disappointed we are with the whole process once we hit new zealand. Ifeel we need some form of compensation but know that wont happen and im not even claiming on our breakages as i had already put quite a few of the thing in the bin I cannot believe we were meant to take photos and get quotes who has time for that. We paid heaps for insurance and we are no liars. Even our tvs dont go. We are just gutted with all of it.
