"had to email multiple times"
Initially the service was great, I was given plenty of information and I was always able to speak to someone if I had a querey, however after payment had been made, my belongings collected and I had left the country I found that communnication was not so easy, on a few occassions I had to email multiple times before I received a response.
Overall the move took significantly longer than I had expected.

Helpful to understand what will happens when your car arrives in another country - what paperwork is needing to have your car compliant - a check list would be great. As if you don't have this paperwork with you, you can be in a bad situation and creates a nightmare. One of the packers took no care with some of my personal affects, just throwing them in the box with no wrapping to cushion them in the box, i.e. xmas decorations - did not look in the bag as to it's contents, threw in a box and they got crushed. Also, the owner of the freight should check all boxes arriving off the inventory, not the freight forwarding staff to ensure that the inventory is only checked by the owner, hence liability for items received is on them.

Myself and my husband were very impressed with the way the 2 gentleman packed up our house. They worked really hard and have done a super job. They were very friendly and professional.

When my tool chest was being delivered to my address it wasn't secured correctly and it fell out of delivery truck at a roundabout, the tool chest is damaged to the extent that it can't be used anymore .

Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, helpful, understanding and with a great sense of humour - all of which added to making our move less stressful. Ours was a protracted process but during this time Conroy were patient and supportive. In addition the arrival and delivery of our goods was straight forward and hassle free so obviously Conroy Removals handled the necessary Customs paperwork perfectly. We would not hesitate in recommedning Conroy Removals and wish them all the best.

Took 16 weeks to arrive. 2 items damaged. Poor communication. Made moving very stressful and hard.
"communication was slack"
The packing up from Perth was fine. We helped, which I didn't have an issue with. But from then on communication was slack. There was an issue with the computer system so after a month I emailed to ask how the move was going. I had an update to say when the container should arrive in nz. But never received an email to confirm that it did arrive in nz, I had to send an email and ask. Sent another 2 emails hoping to get a date to when my gear was going to turn up. Finally got a response. 2 days before it was due to arrive I was told that they had the wrong location down on their paper work and it was going to be another week. Even though a week before I had sent my delivery instructions which clearly stated my address and location. So proof that they didn't double check and confirm address. my gear is suppose to arrive today, but it is already 10am and I haven't heard from anyone. So I don't even know if it is going to turn up. It has been 10 weeks since Our stuff left our house in Perth. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks. The only reason we choose this removal company was because they came to our house to do the quote. I wouldn't recommend this company.
"pleasure to deal with"
From Sydney to Dunedin I felt very comfortable that my car and goods were in the best of hands. Everyone I dealt with from sales, the office, removalists in both Sydney and Dunedin were a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Conroys to anyone thank you

"16 weeks to arrive"
16 weeks to arrive. Hard to get updates n reasons why. Two items damaged.
Very poor
Our experience was great from the Australian side of things however since our goods were collected on the 27th October and it's now the 8th of February we still haven't got possession of our goods even though they have cleared through customs already. The contact in Northern Ireland had mentioned they would be seeing what other deliveries were due in our area and after paying thousands for what we thought was an efficient service we now seem to be waiting on other customers which isn't good when you live in a remote area. Unfortunately this has been very disappointing overall.
