I hope you're doing well. I wanted to reach out to express my frustration and share some concerns I had regarding the recent move. There were a few issues that I believe should be addressed in order to improve the process for future customers.
One of the key concerns I have relates to the lack of guidance provided during the packing process, especially when it comes to items that may need special attention due to customs regulations. For instance, when your team arrived to pack our belongings, I don’t recall being informed that certain items, such as vacuum cleaners, needed to be cleaned thoroughly before packing them for transport. Had I known this in advance, I would have ensured that all items met the necessary requirements. Unfortunately, we were charged an unexpected 750 AUD in additional fees due to customs issues. This could have easily been avoided with better communication and a clearer understanding of the packing guidelines.
Another issue I’d like to address is the handling of our choppers. I specifically asked the packing team if it would be fine to pack them, and they assured me it would be no problem. However, during the move, these items were damaged. If the packing team had provided more detailed advice on how to handle these delicate items or even offered alternative solutions, I believe this could have been prevented. Clearer communication on such matters would have greatly helped us avoid these costly mistakes and the stress that followed.
I want to emphasize that my intention is not to criticize but to offer constructive feedback that I hope will help refine your process. With proper education and communication about potential issues, I believe future customers would have a much smoother and more transparent experience. I trust that you’ll take these concerns into account for future improvements.
Reliable and well-managed
This is the second time I have used Conroy's services, and I still consider Conroy to be reliable and well-managed. However, I found that the quality of the local teams can vary significantly. The packing team arrived slightly later than expected in the morning and had to split the job into multiple sessions. There were also a few instances of incorrect labelling.
While there were a few challenges with the local team's performance, the regional manager demonstrated strong customer focus and responsiveness. I truly hope Conroy continues to grow and improve because I believe Conroy has a strong management team.

Helena was very responsive and helpful with our queries when it came to clearing our shipment from the UK through customs. We were really anxious to get our stuff back after having it all picked up in London four months earlier. Thanks to Craig in the Operations Team for finding us a delivery slot over the Christmas/New Year period. I had the impression that he took time out on a day off to contact me about the delivery. The two guys who came to the house to unpack our belongings were practical, friendly, professional and efficient. Our stuff arrived in good condition, with only a couple of small bits of damage that I think were due to the shipping process / packing in London (and not related to Conroy). The only tiny bit of constructive feedback I would give is that I would have liked a phone call a bit earlier after transfer to the operations team - even if just to explain that they would need to confirm a delivery slot later. However, once I called Conroy myself to get an update, the operations team really swung into action and (as mentioned earlier), I thought Craig really made an effort to get things sorted for us. Thank you to all.

Very happy with the service
Delivered professionally and on time. Both Brisbane and Melbourne teams helpful and careful. Very happy with the service.
Good delivery experience on the day, packers seemed knowledgeable in their business, pointed out a couple of mistakes made by packers in the UK. Unpacked mostly everything, although missed a couple of boxes.
Only one issue: the team said they would return to collect/remove debris / rubbish as part of their delivery service, but when I contacted Wayne to arrange this, Wayne replied to my first email then didn't reply to my subsequent email, and I still haven't heard anything back since.
