I did think that they had forgotten about my shipment, but once I made email contact the communication came readily. The packing guys were great, as were the local Brisbane office staff.

We found this to be a very decently run project and the co-ordination with our Australain regional emovalists (we were in a distant corner of S.E. Australia) was excellent and, given the complexity of the move, the packing was generally very good. A small Rinnai convection heater and a couple of chairs did sustain some damage but we can live with it. Thank you for organising the quarantine fumigation of some ethnographic material as they are quite precious to us as artifacts.

The entire experience was fantastic
The entire experience around the delivery in MEL was fantastic. Timely proactive and informative updates on where things are at and very responsive to any enquiries. The delivery itself was on time and the unloading was super quick, the guys where great, just not overly talkactive.
"I was extremely happy with Conroy"
I was extremely happy with Conroy for their services. Every step of the way they kept me informed of the progress of my shipment. Their quote was very competitive, they arrived promptly, packed carefully and everything went smoothly from start to final delivery in Auckland. I would unhesitatingly seek their services in future if the need arises.
"Absolutely the best service"
Absolutely the best service I have ever encountered we'll done to you Conroy removals I will recommend your services to everyone I can't thank you enough for everything kind regards shane
"The service was seamless"
The service was seamless, and overall cost reasonable. The only thing is that the company could be more transparent withg full costs up front... rather than me discovering additional costs piece by piece.. yes they are referred to in the notes but the original contact should have been able to give an up front UK plus estimated Australia cost total.

To Whom it may concern.
My husband and I were very impressed with your representative who came to see us in NZ and she delivered great service in quoting us and showed passion in her work and relationship with Conroys. Her attitude towards us was great and we thought we had our house contents in good carring hands. To our dissappointment thats where it all ended. We made arrangements with Conroys in Australia for delivery to our house 16 Etheredige lane, Craigieburn, Victoria and as it so happened this was on Friday 11 May 13h00. Truck arrived on time and weather was bad with rainstorms, etc. When we opened the doors the gentlemen mentioned that they wanted to finish early and get back home in Dandenong being a Friday and dinner arragements had been made. I can understand wanting to get back home, however fail to see how their personal arrangements become my problem as a customer. Boxes and furniture were being brought into the premises and as I was marking off the box numbers I noticed how very quickly these gentlemen were working and with no attention of handling our boxes at all. Boxes were being stacked too high for a start onto the trolley as well as the sizing of the boxes too much for the trolley. Small boxes at the bottom with large ones placed ontop. Needless to say when being pushed into the house they fell off the trolley and into our sliding doors. Thankfully the doors did not break, but I cant say much for the boxes. I then urged the men to take it easy and work at a slower pace with more care. I then discovered boxes damaged and could hear breakages. The blame was then put onto us as we packed our own goods. Now I need t mention that we have moved countries before and have transported fragile goods with correct packaging materials and boxing and have had no damages in the past. The blame was then invetedly passed by saying this is how the boxes were packed into the truck. This could very well have been true, however I fail to see how this becomes my problem once again. We had furniture packed and wrapped by your company in NZ. Apon opening the items we discovered more damages especially to our wooden items. After taking some time to checkk all of our goods and make notes of what damages have been discovered it is very dissapointing to see the end result. We have come to the conclusion that failure to handling our household goods is what it boils down too. Weather it be in your storages, transportation, manhandling I could not say. All our boxes used were professional moving boxes with double walls and air bufferings at the bottom. Goods were wrapped inside with protection of either paper, cloth or bubble wrap. Boxes were clearly marked with a description of what was inside on all sides indicated with arrows wich side is up and labled with fragile tape. Surely this is one of the first lessons your staff are taught. I had plenty of crockery damaged yet my fine bone china arrived all in tact??? This makes me think that when loading and unloading boxes are misshandled in some shape or form. I have taken pictures to note the damages. What I find interessting is even the wooden furniture that was wrapped by your company were damaged and broken too!!!
So very dissapointing to see your hard earned pocessions damaged. I will be sending an email directly to the company with attachments in the next coming days and look forward to a reply.
Kind Regards Nasreddine and Tania Youbi

The found all the staff at Conroy’s great to work with and the organising and communication of my shipping with super easy. I was really happy with Conroy’s removals until my shipment arrived and I was advised I had to pay $110 to destroy 2 boxes. I had packed my own boxes and delivered them to the depot in Christchurch. 2 of the boxes I used for packing were apple boxes. I don’t understand how Conroy’s Chch accepted and labeled the apple boxes for shipment? They were stored at the depot then loaded onto the container, how did no one notice? The boxes should never have been shipped, they were apple boxes and I now realise that of course Australia is not going to let them in! I paid Conroy’s to ship my stuff and I thought I was also paying for the knowledge and expertise of international shipping. At no point was any information given to me about what my items should be packed in. I am disappointed that this slipped through and I was made me pay $110 to have the boxes destroyed so that my items could be released.

Correspondence and communication was great. Just disappointed with dents found in my car, which caused inconvinience getting quote etc etc. My first contact was your employee John, he was friendly and calm to talk to. It was a last minute of organising, Conroy was still able to accomodate, not much notice needed.
Great friendly service. Couldn't fault anything extremely happy. Conroy all the way.
