Already Recommended to Others
I have already recommended the services of Conroy Removals to a couple considering moving from Hong Kong to Australia. Another friend about storage consideration in Brisbane. I was kept informed of my shipment coming to Brisbane prior to arrival, landed details then custom clearance times and requirements. Delivery date and times were precise. The two young men doing the heavy lifting were efficient, helpful and so very pleasant..very hot day but they kept smiling.
Efficient and Courteous
The packing and collection was carried out efficiently and courteously. The delivery was the same, on time, efficient and courteous. Thank you. The only problematic part was that I had not been informed of the size of expected port clearance charge in Brisbane, and the amount paid in Thailand included 'Quarantine fee' in Brisbane, but an unexpected additional 'mandatory quarantine inspection fee' was also charged. Apologies for the delay in submitting feedback.

My only complaints were - (1) I was emailed and told I would be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient time for delivery, instead I received an email telling me the day that it was being delivered (no options, no offer to change the scheduled day); (2) the delivery people were fine, but at times seem frustrated with having to unpack and put furniture back together.
Beyond Expectations
Everything that happened from your end of the service was great! Wonderful service and helpful people! Going up and beyond expectations! However, Schumacher Logistics service was terrible. They wouldn't let me check several items that were not marked or had 2 numbers matching. Also, they put undue pressure on my to sign all the pages and I couldn't do that because of errors. They did NOT open any boxes to check for breakables. That was part of the agreement. Now I need to go through everything by myself. There were many boxes that contained breakables. They didn't stack in a logical manner. I can't get to anything beyond 1 row and they stacked things 3 boxes high. 2 rows are not reachable at all. The other room that they put things is a pile miss-matched and thrown in. I'm so disappointed
I loved your end of the business and would use you again for sure. We've phoned and left a message for Schumachers and have yet to hear from them.
Stressful
The wrong paperwork was given to the team doing the packing up - they were told we were doing the packing and we only had three boxes. They weren't sure they would fit all our stuff in the container. It was incredibly stressful. Once the guys started doing the packing they were super efficient and got it all done pretty quickly and managed to fit it all in the container - but it made what was already a stressful day even more stressful.
Polite and Professional
Movers were very polite and professional at all times. Worked carefully with our stuff yet did it in record time! Would def recommend those guys!

More Communication Needed
Service from England was excellent and we had excellent communications up to our goods clearing customs and then all went quiet. I appreciate it takes time to arrange delivery but it would have been nice to have been kept in the loop, with the occassional email - instead of me having to email England to get contact from Brisbane!

I was happy with the service Conroy removals provided in my recent move. However it was over shadowed by a terrible experience at my uplift by another company resulting in some of my items missing and most sustained damage from the trip down from Darwin.
The reason we choose Conroy’s was because they moved us from AKL to BNE, which was fantastic. I cannot say that about this move from BNE to AKL. There was only 2 movers who came, another 1 or 2 was needed. We told the movers multiple times that the dining table can be flat packed, but they assured us it would be marked fragile and treated with care. This did not happen the table arrived and it has been destroyed, 2 of the legs have been broken off. Tools that were in the garage were numbered separately, instead of being wrapped together. The outdoor furniture which we had flat packed and taped the screws to, where not wrapped and so during the move have lost some of the bags of screws.
