The UK side of the operations went perfectly. However the departure and packing in Melbbourne was less good. The van sent was too small adn we had to wait all day for the larger van to arrival. The staff were very nice aand the pack well done- but we found the uincertainty around what was happening on 'D-day' added to the stress of moving. In retrospect we should have arranged the shipping for a couple days earlier.

"items damaged"
I have used your company twice to move between NZ and Australia. I have been very happy with your pricing both times and your customer service. The only thing that has disappointed me is our move just recently we had quite a number of items damaged, was this due to poor packing I don't believe so, I believe it was packed well and placed on the container correctly but when being unpacked for QT inspection and re packed is where items were put back on the container upside down, on their side and breakable items up high where they could fall and smash. To note going back to NZ we had not one issue. I hope the level of service continues through the insurance claim.

My experience started well in NZ. I had a friendly and helpful person come and do the initial quote and the removalists were great.
I found organising my stuff to be shipped (after being in storage) difficult to organise with no information on website or phone messages about working hours over holiday period.
I was told that my container would arrive in Melbourne on 25th Jan and take around 10 days to deliver to me. I signed a lease on a new flat based on that information. While it did arrive on 25th Jan it took FIVE WEEKS to deliver costing me well over $3500 in dead rent. No apology.
The men who delivered my stuff were very efficient. But a table top was missing and 1.5 weeks later no one has attempted to get back to me.
In general my experience was very stressful and disappointing. Will be throwing away my 'spare' table legs and using an alternative company in the future.
I had a great experience - especially my delivery guy, who was really nice and very efficient. The whole thing was totally painless - except for waiting for my items to be unloaded from the ship, which seemed to take a few weeks more than I expected. However, that's not really a big deal.
