Lack of overall communication
The initial home visit and quote was fantastic. Gave me a great deal of confidence so I went with Conroy rather than one of the cheaper quotes I had. The packers were great, though a little over enthusiastic in packing a couple of items I'd specifically said not to pack, but not a big problem. Following packing and removal customer service then slowed down and it took a number of emails to find out when my goods were actually leaving the country. I know this stuff takes time but at times there was a deafening silence. I think all the client wants is some reassurance that the company is aware of a question and will answer it. At times it felt like there was a black hole which was a shame given that I'd chosen Conroy on the reassurance of great customer service.
My goods were despatched both air and sea freight. Unfortunately my UK customs paperwork was not sent by Conroy with the air freight. Hence it was delayed by over a week once it reached the UK, precisely what I was trying to avoid and incredibly frustrating. I also then incurred a charge from DHL. The shipping process was excellent once my goods were actually on board a ship, with the UK agent providing excellent and timely communication and service.
Overall I'd say Conroy were average and didnt meet the expectations set in my initial meeting with Michelle.
Early feedback
Would be good if our furniture was here. A bit early to coment. Left our home in Perth on the 7th September. 7 weeks later. Still waiting. Great team in Perth.

Internal communication issues
Overall a great experience with Conroy and our items arrived without issue and undamaged. Sometimes, however, it did feel that different departments weren't always communicating to each other, such as the storage department issuing an incorrectly higher invoice than previously discussed, or the shipping company in California didn't know they were contracted to move the items upstairs.

Great service. Everything was so easy. All our stuff was packaged really well.
The two guys who moved us from Bunbury worked so hard and were amazing! They sweated through the hottest part of the day only to be met by huge rains as they loaded their vehicle but they moved everything with no fuss. I was amazed by their hard work and attention to detail and their ability to lift and move heavy awkward items. At the other end of the journey we had excellent movers bring all the items into our home - again we managed to have rain and the two guys still did everything professionally and efficiently. Not a single item including a glass coffee table and many glass items was broken in the many thousands of miles of transportation.
