Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersThe professional packing and speed of it was amazing. All I needed to do was have things ready for them to wrap and pack. I was helped with all the forms and paperwork required. The only problem came from customs New Zealand having to get motorbike valuations from a New Zealand business and provide pictures of my children on their bikes. Next problem is covid hasn't allowed me to book flights and accommodation so I am still stuck in Australia, for this reason customs want to charge me 15% tax on bikes and shipping costs. I have sent my flight details to Conroy's New Zealand and now I'm waiting on what happens next, if they will charge me the tax fees. Very frustrating with customs.
You guys made the process really easy even with the changes that had to be made because we couldn't get back into NZ once the trans Tasman bubble closed. I appreciate all your guys help with getting our furniture and car back to NZ. Thank you for everything the communication was awesome and that's what made your guys service great

The move went pretty smooth. There were a few confusing emails sent at times and I wasn't called in advance of delivery as I expected but my stuff arrived mostly intact with minimal breakages. The packing was excellent.
My only disappointment was the delay in being contacted to arrange delivery at destination - despite communication telling me shipment had arrived and I would be contacted to arrange delivery I actually only received a call after I had emailed to follow up a week later. But once received delivery options were flexible and once date set delivery was prompt and communications were great!
Awesome service from start to finish. Easy-going and friendly to deal with, quick responses. Conroys made the whole process such a breeze for me. Customer service was absolutely excellent and helpful - especially as I had never freighted internationally before. I would happily use Conroys again !
Conroy Removals were absolutely fantastic to deal with from the start of our international move right until the day we collected our household items!
The regular updates provided by Conroy Removals was greatly appreciated, the care taken with our belongings was fantastic, and communication during the chaos of Covid was brilliant, both from the Perth depot and the Napier depot.

Australian crew were fantastic and went out of their way to help and make the move as smooth and easy as possible. UK crew were also very efficient and helpful. A couple of items got damaged in transit but that's not unusual and I believe it was not the fault of the removals crews on either side. Administration on the UK side could be better.
Conroys in Brisbane made the move seamless and took care of all paperwork. It is an excellent door to door service.
Conroys in NZ kept me well informed of arrival dates and delays.
Overall the customer service I received from the Conroys team, both in Melbourne and New Zealand, has been very good.I am grateful that most of my items arrived safely and undamaged. However, it was disappointing to find that the front of my fridge door was damaged in transit, as well as one of the feet from the fridge was missing. The TV cabinet had also been damaged on one edge as it looked like it had been dragged along the floor on its side and the bubble wrap had been ripped. I chose not to claim on these items, as the cost of the excess was more than the cost of repairs.I want to give a huge shout out to the NZ team especially, for their professional, helpful customer service. Particularly Susan West and Cindy Eichstadt in the NZ office, who were always so helpful and easy to deal with regarding the storage of my items for 10 months in Tauranga.
And a huge shout out to the fantastic guy and woman from the Tauranga team (apologies for forgetting their names!) who delivered my goods on Thursday 28 October 2021. They were super helpful and friendly and unpacked and set up all my furniture really carefully and professionally. They also made me aware that I was able to arrange for someone from Conroys to collect any boxes I didn't need after I'd unpacked them, which was done by a couple of helpful Conroy's guys today.
Thanks again for making the move from Melbourne to New Zealand far less stressful than it could have been.
